Haven’t blogged about a photo in a while. This shot was originally a daytime shot of the Kansas river. It lacked something….so I added a nice full moon from another shot, a fantastic texture from a flickr contact, and created a mystical moonscape. I have printed an 11×14″ of this shot and am not sure where I’ve placed it right now. I need to find if for the next gallery show.

This is an old photo I decided to give a texture. It’s one of my favorite landscape shots. I wish I could have caught some birds in the shot too…maybe I should have worked some in in Photoshop?

franklin county courthouse

Went on a photo venture yesterday that somehow led me to Ottawa, KS of all places. The Franklin County Courthouse is a GREAT looking building! They also have a really nice downtown area but sadly, the business seems to have really dried up there.

Many of my images are textured to get that “painterly” look. This one really comes close to the look of a painting in my eyes.

I stripped a LOT of my photos from my flickr site. It’s not that I didn’t think they were of good quality…it just seemed to lack a cohesive look. So I’m slowly building it back up and realizing that it still may not appear to be terribly cohesive since I shoot a wide range of different subjects. Oh well…
